COMPANY SAFETY POLICY

The safety of our employees and the general public is the most important aspect and goal of our company. We all want to have a safe and healthy workplace environment, and to ensure this, we need everyone's participation.

The management of Pye Construction Ltd. is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions, and to promoting positive attitudes toward safety and health within the organization.

Management is responsible for providing a safe and healthy worksite, establishing and maintaining adequate standards of maintenance for site equipment. Management also has added responsability of ensuring that physical and health hazards are guarded against or eliminated, and for developing work procedures conducive to a safe and healthy work environment.

A Health and Safety Manual is posted on every job site,  available at our head office, 1647 Little Road, Victoria, and will be provided to all employees and subcontractors.

Superintendents/Foreman are responsible for ensuring that all workers are properly instructed to do their work safely, enforcing safe work procedures and regulations, correcting all unsafe activities, and for holding weekly "tailgate meetings" to review and discuss any safety or health issues.

All workers and subcontractors are required to work safely, to know and follow all rules and safe work procedures.

All employees are expected to correct and/or report any unsafe work conditions or activities, and to work cooperatively toward the prevention of accidents. We ask that everyone think and act toward a safe and successful job for the benefit of all of us.

Thank you,

Wayne Pye, President
